Isaac Carter Music

Recording Artist & Guitar Instructor

Guitarist Isaac Carter was born in Portland, Oregon, grew up in the Oakland Hills and currently resides in Glen Ellen, California with his wife and two children.

He completed the jazz studies program at Sonoma State University under professor Mel Graves.  He also studied privately with jazz guitar master Randy Vincent and guitar greats Jim Campilongo and Bruce Forman.

Isaac performs with various bands, in theatre orchestra pits and as a solo guitarist. 

In addition to a busy performance schedule, Isaac is an active music educator.  He teaches in the after school music program at Sonoma Country Day School in Santa Rosa, private lessons at Cannon School of Music in Sonoma and at his home.  He is a sponsored Taylor Guitars Artist.

In his free time, Isaac is an avid hiker and enjoys spending time in the numerous parks around the Sonoma Valley.
